this kaleidoscope skirt is pretty crazy, it's made up of two big digital printed scalloped pieces on the front and back, held together with asymmetrical accordion pleated red fabric. i always wear it with my red patent margiela tabis
i was rummaging through my old photo box and found this.. my hair looks orange here but it was actually pink, i think it was when i was 16? i used to do all sorts of fun things with my hair when i was younger...i miss that!

Tabi shoes seem to be among the most polarising fashion items of all time- I've just come off defending them on another blog, where they were criticised as everything from being goat-like to being vulva-like.
Your skirt and hat are utterly gorgeous, though. If it's not too much to ask, what's the blue/purple stuff at the back of the hat- is it feathers, or something else?

floppyhat- yeah i dont get why tabis are so controversial all of a sudden. theyre traditional japanese shoes and theyve been around for such a long time, it's like arguing whether the kimono is ugly or not... so many popular shoes have used the same split toe design, my favorite nike sneakers have a tabi toe too
